Multiplex Testing

More and more important in the (immuno-)diagnostics market is multiplexing. Not testing for one analyte at a time, but for multiple analytes. This can be done by dispensing multiple lines (for a picture see the photos tab) or by utilizing a microarray. A number of analytes can be printed (or spotted) onto a substrate:


In this case it is a membrane on the bottom of the wells of a 96 wells microplate. This principle can also be performed by utilizing lateral flow strips:
